How to do FUN.

During the holiday season, a popular family outing is to go into the city and see The Nutcracker or some other popular holiday themed performance. Families enjoy being a part of the bustle of the season, spending precious time with their loved ones, and having a grand time being a part of something. So why is it that families must only participate in grand artsy things during the holiday season?

Find fun every day. Positive people sometimes have an amazing goal to do something fun each and every day, or for the busier people, each weekend. In many cities museums, performing arts venues, or history centers exist to help inform or fill peoples time. Museum prices are relatively low (which caters to the locals), performing arts venues have shows that last weekends and months. Also, many quaint towns have weekend events in the park, where art festivals, harvest festivals, movies in the park are available to get people out of their normal rut. Catching a popular romance isn’t just about the movie and the popcorn, but also about seeing the friends that live a few streets away.

If everyone in the city could do something fun each and every free moment that they have, imagine how things would change for the better. Performing arts venues would thrive instead of their current flailing state. Newspapers wouldn’t only cover the latest crime, but instead the raving review of the recent musical downtown. Websites would be colorful and edgy with pictures of the arts square where performers were meeting and greeting the audience. Things would change, and all that it would require is a little bit of fun. FUN, who would have thought?

Life would be grand, laughter and joy would fill our days and nights. It would be that simple. Aren’t you excited to do something fun this weekend?
